Tianjin Dagang Auto Fittings Factory was founded in 1967. It is located in Zhong Tang Town Industrial Garden, 25km from the city proper, 30km from Tianjin Airport and Seaport respectively.passed certification of ISO9002, QS9000 and ISO/TS16949 respectively in 1998, 2001 and 2004.It was once entitled an advanced unit of product innovation in the eighth five year plan by Economics&Trade Ministry, an advanced unit of technical progress in the eighth five year plan by Agriculture Ministry, a unit abiding by contracts and credit, an anvanced enterprise in product innovation and a spark plan exemplar by Tianjin City Government, and was absorbed into China Auto Fittings Industry&Trade Group. The factory produces auto stabilizer, suspension helix spring, control lever series, stamping products, little type steel band, and double steel wire neck ferrule series, etc.

　　In the factory are total assets of 71.8 million yuan, including fixed assets of 50 million yuan; covered area of 55 thousand square meters, including floor area of 18 thousand square meters; 300 staff and workers, including 5 senior engineers, 2 experts, 16 intermediate technical staff members; and 200 sets of equipment of various kinds. With complete equipment, stable quality, and strong research force, the factory designs tools and molds, processes, and manufactures new products by itself, so it develops a new product in a shorter period and lower cost. As the first enterprise researching and manufacturing stabilizers, its self-made automatic shaping machine of stabilizers filled domestic vacancy. The enterprise is good at producing helix spring of heterotype suspension with variable cross section and rectangular end hoop. A dozen of products such as stabilizers and control levers, which are assorted products supplanting similar imported products, have been brought into municipal and national Spark Plan and granted first, second and third rate award of Tianjin Spark Plan. At present, the stabilizers and suspension helix springs are provided to more than 20 automobile main factories such as Xiali, Beijing Jeep, Hunan Changfeng, Dongfeng Yuedakia, Shenyang Jinbei, Zhengzhou Nissan, and Baoding Greatwall. To further increase the quantity and stabilize product quality, in 2003 over 20 million yuan was invested to establish an automatic production line producing 1 million stabilizers annually and a production line producing 1.5 million suspension helix springs annually. The "BALANCE" brand stabilizers occupies 25 — 30% of domestic market.
